Founded in 2003. Wikipedia operates in 300+ languages and is one of the only places online where people can access and contribute reliable information without advertising or paywalls. The foundation is funded primarily by reader donations and has earned Charity Navigator's four-star rating and Candid's Platinum Seal of Transparency.
