50% of the 15,034 active roles we track publish a USD salary range at a stated experience level, 7,463 roles in total. The bands break out each experience level that has at least 15 of them, so the charted samples can sum to slightly fewer than that total when a level is too thin to report. Roles priced in other currencies are excluded rather than converted at a rate that would go stale.
What counts as remote, hybrid, onsite, or restricted?
Remote roles have no location requirement. Hybrid roles combine in-office and remote work. Onsite roles require full-time in-office presence. Region-restricted remote roles are remote but limited to a specific country, region, or timezone.
