The bands break out each experience level that has at least 15 of them, so the charted samples can sum to slightly fewer than that total when a level is too thin to report. Roles priced in other currencies are excluded rather than converted at a rate that would go stale.
What counts as remote, hybrid, onsite, or restricted?
Remote roles have no location requirement. Hybrid roles combine in-office and remote work. Onsite roles require full-time in-office presence. Region-restricted remote roles are remote but limited to a specific country, region, or timezone.
