Turion Space builds satellites, propulsion, and software for orbital infrastructure. The DROID satellite platform runs on gridded ion propulsion, and StarfireOS handles fleet control, simulation, deployment, and archive. Government customers include USSF, NASA, and the NRO.
DROID.001 has been operating in orbit for 20+ months. The company raised a $75M+ Series B in April 2026 and acquired Tychee Research Group earlier that year.
