Telnyx is a communications platform founded in 2009 and headquartered in Chicago. Unlike traditional CPaaS providers, Telnyx owns and operates a private global multi-cloud IP network with points of presence in major metros worldwide, giving it Tier-1 carrier status and end-to-end control over the communication path.

The platform provides developer-friendly APIs for programmable voice, messaging, video, wireless, numbering, and Voice AI agents. Telnyx combines its global telephony infrastructure with dedicated AI capabilities including built-in speech recognition and text-to-speech.

Telnyx maintains offices in Chicago and Dublin, with distributed engineering teams across multiple continents. The company was co-founded by CEO David Casem and COO Ian Reither.
