Techstars is a global startup accelerator and venture capital firm founded in 2006, now headquartered in New York City. Through mentorship-driven accelerator programs, Techstars provides early-stage startups with capital investment, hands-on mentorship, and lifetime access to a worldwide network of founders, investors, and corporate partners across more than 150 countries.

Each Techstars accelerator program runs for three months, during which selected companies gain access to experienced mentors and resources including hosting, accounting, and legal support. Techstars is highly selective, admitting approximately 1-2% of applicants and typically selecting around 12 companies per cohort. Programs span verticals including AI, healthcare, sustainability, Web3, and workforce development, with locations on six continents.

The Techstars portfolio includes notable companies such as Chainalysis, Zipline, DataRobot, and Alloy. According to PitchBook data, 74.5% of Techstars companies raise money within three years post-program.
