Sysdig is a cloud security platform built around runtime insights. The company's pitch is that cloud security starts at runtime, which means watching what containers, workloads, and cloud services actually do in production rather than only scanning configs and code. Core products are Sysdig Secure (their CNAPP), Sysdig Monitor, and Sysdig Sage, a GenAI cloud security analyst.
The platform is built on Falco, the open-source runtime threat detection engine that Sysdig created and still maintains. Other open source work includes Falco Feeds and Stratoshark.
