Paymentology is an issuer processor. Banks, fintechs, telcos, and governments use the platform to launch and run debit, prepaid, credit, hybrid, virtual, and numberless cards. Named customers include Wio, Mox, Safaricom (M-PESA), Agoda, Orange, TrueMoney, Mukuru, GoTyme, Diamond Trust Bank, Standard Bank (Shyft), and Rain.
The company formed in 2021 from a merger of Tutuka and Paymentology UK, and later became part of Teya. Remote-first, with 450+ employees spread across more than 67 countries and major hubs in London, South Africa, and the UAE. Reports 400+ clients, presence in 50+ countries, and over 1 billion transactions processed.
