Manifest is a software supply chain security platform. The product automates SBOM generation (SPDX, CycloneDX, VEX), monitors vulnerabilities and CVEs, assesses AI model risk, and handles third-party and vendor risk. Customers use it to meet EO 14028 and NIST 800-218 requirements, with traction in automotive, medical devices, defense and government, financial services, and healthcare.
Founded in December 2021 in the wake of Log4shell. CEO Daniel Bardenstein was previously Chief of Tech Strategy at CISA. Co-founder Marc Frankel came out of Expanse and Palantir. The team is built from Department of Defense, CISA, and Palantir alumni.
Backed by XYZ Venture Capital, Box Group, First Round Capital, and Homebrew. Mission is to "secure the most important supply chain the world has ever created."
