Lincoln Loop is a Django and Python consultancy that builds custom web applications, replatforms CMSes, and runs data and AI systems for clients. Founded 2007. Past clients include Planned Parenthood, PBS, Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic, UNICEF, NASA, and Mozilla.
Remote-first since day one, with around 21 people spread across North America, Europe, South America, and New Zealand. Most of the team has worked together for 10+ years. Decisions go by consensus.
Wrote the book "High Performance Django" and maintain AppPack.io, an AWS deployment tool. Django Silver Member and Python Software Foundation Participating Member. $232,350 donated since 2011.
