The Drupal Association is the non-profit behind Drupal, the open source content management framework. Per their own words, they exist to accelerate Drupal, grow the community, and support the project's vision of "a safe, secure, and open web for everyone."
Day to day, that means administering Drupal.org on behalf of the community, running DrupalCon, and operating programs like the Drupal Certified Partner network and the security advisory system. Drupal itself powers millions of sites, including 70% of the world's leading universities.
Funded by individual Ripple Maker memberships, organizational sustaining memberships, sponsorships, and donations. Staff and board work alongside community committees.
