Doximity
Healthcare professional network for US clinicians, with AI-powered tools for documentation, communication, and clinical decision-making.
About
Doximity is the largest verified network of healthcare professionals in the US. Membership covers over 85% of US doctors and 65% of NPs and physician assistants, plus medical students and pharmacists. Larger than the AMA, and per the company, more doctors use Doximity than use Epic.
The product set spans a mobile app, a dialer that hides the clinician's personal number, electronic fax, secure patient collaboration, a scribe tool, and Doximity Ask, an AI assistant that surfaces full-text journals and society practice guidelines. Clinicians at Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Penn Medicine, Mass General, NY Presbyterian, and Ochsner are cited on the site.
CEO Jeff Tangney previously founded Epocrates. Co-founder Dr. Nate Gross previously founded Rock Health. Backers include Emergence Capital, InterWest, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley.
