About

DBeaver is a cross-platform database management tool and SQL client supporting 100+ SQL and NoSQL databases. The open-source project was started in 2013 by Serge Rider, with the company formally incorporated in 2017. DBeaver is headquartered in New York.

The company offers a free open-source Community Edition (dbeaver.io) and a commercial DBeaver PRO with advanced features. DBeaver raised a $6M seed round in 2023 led by Headline with participation from PTV. The open-source repository has over 40,000 GitHub stars.

The product is built in Java on the Eclipse RCP platform, consisting of 130+ plugins with JDBC connectivity, JSQLParser, and ANTLR4 for SQL parsing.
