CoLab is a cloud-based platform for engineering design review. It enables subject matter experts to access, evaluate, and comment on 2D drawings and 3D models. The platform features AI capabilities including AutoReview, an AI peer checker that analyzes designs for errors and standards non-compliance, along with AI Drawing Review, AI CAD Review, an AI Knowledge Graph, and AI Lessons Learned.

The platform supports use cases across internal and external engineering reviews, including design for manufacturability, supplier DFM, joint development, engineer-to-order quoting, value analysis, and multi-CAD/multi-PLM collaboration. CoLab integrates with major PLM and CAD systems including PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, SolidWorks, and Jira.

Headquartered in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, CoLab has raised $50.6M in funding and counts Johnson Controls, Komatsu, Schaeffler, and Polaris among its customers.
