Customers include Canva, Max, TurboTax, Delivery Hero, Wyndham Hotels, MetLife, Pizza Hut, and Chime.
Founded in 2011 as Appboy after a hackathon meeting between Bill Magnuson, Jon Hyman, and Mark Ghermezian. Rebranded to Braze and went public on Nasdaq (BRZE) in November 2021. Passed $500M in CARR in 2023.
Around 2,000 employees across 15 offices on 5 continents, serving more than 2,000 brands in 70+ countries. The platform processed 10.2T API calls in 2025 and reaches roughly 8B monthly active users as of January 2026.
