Airbyte is an open-source data integration platform. Two engines run side by side: a Data Replication Engine using batch and CDC connectors to move data into warehouses, lakes, and databases, and an Agent Engine pairing real-time connectors with a context store for AI agents.
Customers include Carlsberg Group, Air Liquide, Deloitte, Databricks, Snowflake, and Peloton. The platform syncs around 800,000 pipeline jobs per day and has a community of 25,000+ around the open-source project.
Founded January 2020, went through Y Combinator W20, and has raised about $181M through Series B from Benchmark, Accel, Coatue, Thrive, Altimeter, and Salesforce Ventures. Co-founded by Michel Tricot (CEO) and Jean Lafleur (COO).
