Ouster builds digital lidar sensors and 3D perception software for automation, drones, and robotics. The sensor line covers OSDome, OS0, OS1, OS1 Max and OS2, alongside REV8, which the company calls the world's first native color lidar sensor, with color and 3D data fused in silicon.
On performance, the company describes REV8 as double the range and double the resolution in native color, and the wider platform as megapixel resolution with ultra low latency and perfect spatial temporal alignment, enabling ultra low latency native color 3D vision.
